Johns Creek High School standout and professional distance runner Allie Buchalski delivered a strong performance on the national stage, finishing third in the women's 10,000 meters at the 2026 USATF Outdoor Championships at Icahn Stadium in New York City.
Competing for the Brooks Beasts Track Club, Buchalski clocked a time of 33:42.29 to claim the bronze medal in a crowded field.

Buchalski's national podium finish builds on a career of distance running excellence that began during her time in JCHS.
During her career at Johns Creek High School (2009–2013), Buchalski established herself as one of the most decorated runners in Georgia high school history. A six-time GHSA State Champion, she captured three state cross country titles (2009, 2011, and 2012) alongside three outdoor track state championships in the 1,600m and 3,200m events. Her achievements earned her Georgia Gatorade Runner of the Year honors in 2012 and AJC Girls Cross Country Athlete of the Year accolades in 2013.
Following high school, Buchalski continued her career at Furman University, where she became a six-time NCAA First Team All-American and finished as the national runner-up in the 5,000 meters in 2018.

Since joining the professional ranks with the Brooks Beasts, Buchalski has competed at the highest levels of track and field, including multiple U.S. Olympic Trials finals and international championships representing Team USA. Her bronze medal in the 10,000m adds another milestone to her career.
