The Johns Creek Gladiators opened their flag football season on September 30 at Centennial High School, competing against Lassiter and Centennial in a challenging season-opening doubleheader.
The Gladiators faced a strong Lassiter team in their first game of the evening and came up short in a hard-fought contest. Johns Creek responded well in game two, bouncing back with a victory over Centennial to earn a split on the night and start the season with positive momentum. Ava Stoddard led the way for the Gladiators with an outstanding performance, making key plays throughout the evening and helping spark the team's effort in the win over Centennial. Her contributions played a major role in Johns Creek's strong finish to the night.
The season is off to a promising start for the Gladiators, who showed resilience by responding to an early setback with a team victory. Johns Creek looks to build on that success as the season continues.
