JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — The Johns Creek Lady Gladiators had a strong showing on their home field Tuesday night, defeating North Atlanta High School 9-5 behind a balanced offensive attack and solid work in the circle.
The Lady Gladiators came out swinging, collecting 11 hits and applying pressure throughout the game. Johns Creek's offense was paced by Zelda Arthur and Audrey Lafon, who each recorded multiple hits to lead the way at the plate.
Reese Stiltner also played a key role in the victory, finishing with a hit and a sacrifice fly while driving in two runs. Additional contributions came from Allie Lafon, Haley Brown, Uma Pittman, Addie Grindle, and Kennedy Brewer, all of whom added hits as part of the team's 11-hit effort.
In the circle, Uma Pittman earned the win after turning in a strong performance against the North Atlanta lineup. Haley Brown closed out the contest in impressive fashion, tossing a clean seventh inning to secure the 9-5 victory.
The win gives Johns Creek a 4-2 record overall. They will look to build on that success when they host Collins Hill on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at John Creek High School
