The Johns Creek Lady Gladiators delivered an impressive 10-1 victory over the Forsyth Central Bulldogs on October 5, showcasing both power at the plate and dominance in the circle.
One of the biggest moments of the night came when senior pitcher Uma Pittman recorded her 100th strikeout of the season, a remarkable milestone that highlights her outstanding year in the circle. Pittman was equally effective at the plate, collecting three hits to help fuel the Gladiators' offense.
Another major highlight came off the bat of Isla Wells, who blasted a three-run home run to break the game open and give Johns Creek a commanding lead. The long ball provided a huge spark for the Gladiators as they continued to build on their advantage throughout the night.
Johns Creek put together a strong all-around performance, combining timely hitting, solid defense, and another excellent outing from Pittman to secure the 10-1 win on the road. They are now 19-5 with two games left to play.
The Lady Gladiators return to action on October 6 when they host Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. as they continue their push through the season.
