The Johns Creek Gladiators traveled to North Forsyth on October 7 for a pair of games against Gilmer High School and North Forsyth High School. The team continued to build momentum early in the season, earning a strong win and competing in a closely contested defensive battle. Johns Creek opened the night with an impressive victory over Gilmer. After a competitive first half, the Gladiators took control of the game with a dominant second-half performance. The team executed well on both sides of the ball and pulled away to secure the win.
In the second game of the evening, Johns Creek faced host North Forsyth in a defensive matchup. Neither team was able to find the end zone in the first half, as both defenses controlled the game. The contest remained scoreless deep into the second half before North Forsyth scored with just 15 seconds remaining to claim a narrow victory.
Despite the tough finish, the Gladiators showed continued improvement throughout the night. The team demonstrated resilience, strong defensive play, and steady growth as they continue to develop early in the season. Johns Creek looks forward to carrying that progress into the weeks ahead.
