JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — The Johns Creek Lady Gladiators continued their strong start to the 2026 season on Wednesday night, defeating the Collins Hill Eagles 8-0 in six innings at Johns Creek High School.
The Lady Gladiators put together one of their most complete performances of the season, combining disciplined at-bats, timely hitting, and dominant pitching to improve their record to 5-2.
Johns Creek showed patience at the plate from the opening inning, working six walks and consistently putting pressure on the Eagles' defense. The Gladiators capitalized on scoring opportunities throughout the game and delivered key hits when they mattered most.
Reese Stiltner led the offensive attack with two hits and an RBI, continuing to provide a spark near the top of the lineup. Audrey Lafon stayed hot at the plate as well, collecting two hits and helping set the tone offensively.
One of the biggest highlights of the evening came off the bat of Zelda Arthur, who electrified the home crowd with an inside-the-park two-run home run. Arthur's hustle around the bases helped extend the Gladiators' lead and added to an already impressive offensive performance.
Johns Creek also received a clutch contribution from Allie Lafon. With two outs, Lafon delivered a key hit that drove in two runs and helped put the game firmly in the Gladiators' control.
The offensive support was more than enough for pitcher Uma Pittman, who turned in another outstanding effort in the circle. Pittman tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing just one walk while striking out three batters. She kept Collins Hill off balance all night and never allowed the Eagles to mount a serious threat.
Behind Pittman's strong performance and a balanced offensive attack, the Lady Gladiators secured the 8-0 run-rule victory in six innings.
Johns Creek will look to carry its momentum into Saturday when the Lady Gladiators travel to Northview High School. With a 5-2 record and confidence growing after a dominant win over Collins Hill, Johns Creek hopes to keep rolling as the season continues.
